Can I Vape In Public Places?

For the most part, vaping falls under the same by-laws as tobacco when it comes to use in public spaces.

Vaping is not generally allowed in bars, restaurants, patios, and other regulated public spaces, unless direct consent has been given by the owner of said establishment or property.

Please check with you province or state’s by-laws for more information.

As a long term vaper I find it is always a good idea to ASK permission before vaping in a public area such as patios and bars. This is a good idea because of the stigma that surrounds vaping which makes it associated with smoking and second hand smoke. As a vaper, you always want to make a good name for the vaping community as being polite.
